What seems like our greatest challenge was exactly where we had to start.

Many do not know but we started out 2020 with only a couple staff, and an intention to look at how we reframe our work. We were struggling financially and while people loved the concept of what we do, we were not getting traction. (don’t know about this paragraph, was an attempt to be transparent…)

And then the pandemic hit. We all stayed home and I thought it was the end. But the universe works in mysterious ways and on March 20 Lisa Knight and I connected, along with a group of 10 other designers, Sewists and Makers and within seven days we, along with a huge network of community volunteers, partners and supporters, designed and brought to market a brand new product.
